Additional flood monitoring systems

How we helped

The installations included a combination of river and rain monitoring stations in addition to Lockyer Valley flood camera sites, which are designed to provide river and rain data with a live video feed of Laidley Creek and Sandy Creek at potential breakout points of these streams.

Project Features

• Remote monitoring stations measuring and recording rainfall and stream water level
• PTZ field cameras provide real time video data of Laidley and Sandy Creeks
• PTZ camera feeds are delivered through Aquamonix’s own online web portal (Envault)
• All stations comply with Bureau of Meteorology standards
• Hydrometric data is delivered to Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s own installation of the Bureau of Meteorology’s Enviromon data visualisation software

The project was delivered on time and within budget.
