How we helped

After a once in a thousand-year flood occurred in Dungog, NSW; it was identified that the residents required more warning to evacuate safely during heavy rain events.

This event inundated much of the township and sadly claimed 5 lives. In response, the council was looking for a warning system to provide residents safety and peace of mind. The 2-horn siren system supplied by the Aquamonix Integrated Solutions team, provided an economic solution for Dungog Shire Council. AIS has installed a flood warning system which will instill the local community with increased resilience during flood and rain events. The Aquamonix Integrated Solutions team completed this important project on time and under budget.
